A Day At The Rome Rose Garden

Let’s admit it. I travel whenever I can. During my last trip in Rome (Italy), I came across a true piece of beauty that is hard to forget. If you are looking for inspiration, or just want to relax, I suggest you plan a visit to Rome in May, certainly the most beautiful month of the year. At the foot of the Aventino Hill (Colle Aventino), close to Circus Maximus (Circo Massimo) and Palatine Hill (Colle Palatino) there is one of the most romantic gardens in the city, with its 1,100 rose varieties coming from all over the world, their magnificent colours and unforgettable scents. It is the Rome Rose Garden (Roseto di Roma Capitale) extending over 10,000 m² and offering view of botanic roses, antique roses and modern roses. It opens its gates from May to October for the pleasure of all visitors.
