A dynamic design for this front
garden in Bottesford. Simple shaped

This is one of the largest
projects we have designed. In total
its about 1000m2 and this will set
new standards in school gardening.

2009
|
Leys
Farm Junior School (show garden).
A full blown show garden built at
BBC Gardeners World Live then
transferred back to Leys Farm Junior
School in Bottesford.

Bottesford Infants School.
This is a full blown kitchen garden
and outside learning area. We are
running a gardening club from here
starting in 2010.

Littlecoates Primary School.
Raised planters in an unused (full
sun) area of the school make the
area usable and is a great place to
grow their own

The Pink Pig food festival 2009 -
Broccoli planting with lots of
school children and they all took
their broccoli away with them!

Horkstow Road, Barton.
A full blown kitchen
garden with raised beds, orangery,
cottage style walkway. patio and
everything!

Bracken Hill, Scawby.
Ok, I know this is not a romantic
garden, but it does show our
capabilities for concreting and
large patio laying.

Park Avenue, Harrogate.
A total garden re vamp in the
centrally located corner house.
Drive and garden to all sides made
low maintenance with a fresh
planting scheme.

Girton Close, Bottesford.
A medium garden in a bit of a mess
until it was all dug out and totally
re worked with a mixture of plants,
patio, vegetables and children's
play equipment.

2008
|
Bowmandale Primary School
Bulb planting to make a difference
in the spring. The children loved
this exercise with links to the
curriculum like counting the bulbs
and measuring the depth of planting.

Welholme Junior School.
This is a great gardening project on
an allotment site in Grimsby. The
children planted everything and the
allotment holders helped in every
way.

Walkington, East Riding of Yorkshire.
A round block paved drive area with
gravel path down garden and
mixed planting scheme. The open
ranch style fence borders the drive
but leaves the view open.

upon Humber, Nth Lincolnshire.
A full design and build of the rear
garden, including decking, patio,
planting scheme, raised garden, lawn
and summerhouse.

Sancton, East Riding
A small banked area that we planted
with a contemporary way of stopping
the dogs digging the area up.

A large turfing job on ground that
slopes in more than one direction!

An overgrown garden that's in need
of simplifying, fence painting, a
new patio and more.

2007
|
Bowmandale Primary School
A science area in the shape of a
water molecule. A weather station
was installed with a loggery for
mini beasts, bird table from a
grandfather at the school.

Ulceby St Nicholas School
A living willow galleon at 30meters
long and 10metres wide. 6m long
whale and a 2m high fish tail really
do make this exciting outdoor
classroom.

Messingham,
Nth Lincolnshire.
A planting scheme created in the
front garden to add all year round
sparkle with evergreens and
perennials.

Whitton, Nth Lincolnshire
A full planting scheme for this
garden by the river. Drifts of
evergreens, Bamboos, perennials,
grasses and much more are planted
through a membrane with slate
covering it.

Herne Bay, Kent
A very muddy garden that needed a
French drain, lots of sand and grit
but just look how it turned out in
just four days.

Birkhamstead, Hertfordshire
This is the most amazing Japanese
style pond to the north of
Birkhamstead. We feel fortunate to
have been involved with the design
and build.

levels, a large used sleeper
retaining wall and upper deck plus
lower patio.

Bowmandale Primary School
This was our first school project
and its when we realised the massive
difference that can be made to
children's lives through gardening.

Humber
One of the oldest houses in Barton
with gardens to all sides and secret
gardens through a doorway.
This is a small portfolio of the
changes to the lawn and the front
garden.

Garden Gardeners World Live
This is the largest show garden ever
built in the world at 1200m2! It was
our first show garden and Diarmuid
Gavin said we were bordering on
genius or insanity!

Window baskets planted with lots of
summer flowering plants! This adds
lots of colour to this courtyard,
inside and outside the house.

Both Front and rear gardens
re-design and built. Patio's, lawns,
full planting schemes, water
features and garden lighting!

A full planting scheme for the front
of this house, giving lush evergreen
colour and summer surprises with
colourful perennials.

A sunken patio is dug into the
garden to shield against the wind. a
gravel soak away is made to the edge
to ensure there is no flooding and
fragrant planting surrounds the
whole area.

Humber
One of the oldest houses in Barton
with gardens to all sides and secret
gardens through doorways. A gravel
garden with a pond and a bridge
makes it different from others.

planting scheme was donated by us as
a prize to this children's charity.

A quite area built for the children
of the school so they can relax and
read at
play time.

A small sensory garden built for the
children to enjoy and the parents to
relax in. A shade sail adds to the
nautical theme and provides shade in
the hot sun.

cottage garden. Trellis helps divide
the areas with colour themes plants
and a gravel seating area.

Long Spring Wood - Sevenoaks, Kent.
A woodland development in a really
nice part of Kent. We developed each
area and kept it all as natural as
we could.

levels of the garden. Low
maintenance planting scheme with a

A front lawn is laid with a slow
growing low maintenance turf and
even though the pictures are taken
on the day we did the lay, you can
see the great quality.

North Ferriby, East Yorkshire.
Maintenance of a lovely split level
garden. Around the footpaths the
scent in the air is rather like
Champaign and it was a pleasure to
work here.

built to the rear of the house.

would think of different ways in
which to stripe the lawn. Here we

Croydon, Surrey.
A small garden of which the owners
wanted us to cover with membrane and
gravel. To give them planting areas
we added pots and the raised height
was a benefit.

After a day in this garden we shaped
the conifers, weeded the borders and
gave the garden lots of unusual
shapes.
